Key Responsibilities:
- Administer insurance claims for automobile, general liability, workers' compensation, inland marine, and pollution.
- Communicate promptly and accurately with insurers, adjusters, and TPAs to ensure seamless claim processing.
- Conduct initial claim investigations, gathering documentation such as photos, police reports, and damage estimates.
- Perform accident investigations to identify root causes and recommend preventative measures.
- Track and process third-party vendor invoices related to insurance, safety, and fleet management.
- Monitor and analyze claim data, participating in strategy meetings to identify trends and improvements.
- Draft general liability claim releases for internally managed claims.
- Consistently track claim statuses from initiation to closure and maintain detailed records.
- Foster adherence to internal policies and procedures across teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- Experience: 3-5 years in insurance claims, paralegal work, or related administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Positive, professional, and solution-focused demeanor.
- A self-starter with excellent time management abilities.
