The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Performs a variety of services ranging from faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service. As a plumbing technician, you will work as part of a dynamic team filling a role that suits you best whether it is consulting with customers, repairs, installation, or all of the above.

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls. These piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases, or hot liquids.Provide excellent customer service to residential customers by educating them on plumbing services recommended in their homes if a foreseeable and / or hazardous condition is detected.Identify required tools and special equipmentSelect the type and size of pipe requiredLocate and mark positions for connections and fixturesInstall supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures, and equipmentAssemble and install valves and fittingsInstall, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment, piping, and controlsInstall, repair, and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systemsInstall, repair, and maintain sinks, tubs, and toiletsInstall, repair, and maintain water heaters and conditionersInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances, and trimTest pipe systems and fixtures for leaksPerform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixturesApply all codes to installations, repairs, and maintenanceEnsure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are metEnsure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and gradedEnsure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codesEnsure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirementsQualifications :
