WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR -supporting our Mt Laurel / Cherry Hill branch location of LEN THE PLUMBER HEATING & AIR
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse operations at all Branches within the Zone. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor leads efforts in directly supporting our growing team of service technicians by ensuring they have the right materials, at the right time, to provide exceptional and prompt service to our customers. Utilizing internal resources and external partners, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees material purchasing for all branches, within the zone, and supports the companys profitability by accurately tracking inventory, monitoring vendor pricing and controlling shrinkage. The Warehouse Supervisor works with the Warehouse Manager to create excellence in process documentation and continuous improvement to help ensure consistency in approach and scalability through LTPs growth. The Warehouse Supervisor will be a Player/Coach with hands on approach to teaching and leading the warehouse staff within the zone, reporting any concerns to Warehouse manager for direction and resolve of issues.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and provide strong leadership to warehouse personnel in the zone to ensure smooth operations and great internal customer service; tech friendly atmosphere.
- Drive accountability of staff on quality of work, accuracy and efficiency of all expected job functions
- Work with Warehouse Manager to run day-to-day operations, SOPs, organization and cleanliness of LTP warehouses in their zone.
- Ensure calendars are used and kept up to ensure ongoing truck / warehouse inventories are completed in alignment with company goals. Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Oversee weekly truck and warehouse replenishments are regularly processed to ensure prompt delivery of materials and minimize out of stocks.
- Work with Warehouse manager to perfect truck & warehouse materials based on varying and evolving criteria.
- Monitor and report updates needed to item masters, to Warehouse Manager, in accordance with needs, that may require change in material demands.
- Assist Warehouse Manager with truck fleet needs and recommend changes needed to best serve the zones needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and transport >50lbs
- Travel to each branch location on as needed basis.
- Travel to vendors when needed
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- High School degree
- at least 1-2 years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (plumbing materials highly preferred)
- 4-8 years relevant experience with documented / exceptional results.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills: EXCEL needed
