Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) OR Registered Nurse (R.N.) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient facilities and urgent care environments. As a Licensed Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing resident needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatment protocols to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Summary:
Duties:
- Provide direct resident care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) OR Registered Nurse (R.N.) in IL
- Certification BLS (Basic Life Support)
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, infants, geriatric and/or dementia patients is preferred
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques such as sonography or mammography is a plus
- Familiarity with coding systems and electronic health record systems (e.g., Point Click Care)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
