What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Crisis Worker position at LENAPE VALLEY FOUNDATION?
Join our Premier Bucks County Crisis Team where you will support members of the community who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. You will provide an initial assessment and work with the clients to establish a plan for them and their family moving forward. This is a fast-paced role with no two shifts ever being the same. We have full time shifts available in our Bristol location!

- Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

What You Offer:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, gerontology, criminal justice, theology, nursing or counseling; or be a registered nurse
- Two years of experience in public or private human services with one year of direct mental health care experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Experience in EHR preferred
- Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job description, with or without accommodation
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and answer mobile crisis line
- Provide triage, support, crisis counseling, information, and referrals for community member phone calls
- Perform face to face level of care assessment in a team of two
- Provide face to face crisis counseling and planning
- Process applications for involuntary commitment and arrange emergency psychiatric evaluation as needed
