Position Summary:
Lenawee Christian School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Bible Teacher to join our academic team. The Secondary Bible Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the spiritual and intellectual development of our students. As a key member of our faculty, the successful candidate will inspire students to grow in their faith, understanding of biblical principles, and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching:
- Conduct engaging and comprehensive art classes for elementary, middle, and high school classes while integrating biblical principles and lessons.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and skill development in the visual arts.
- Develop an art curriculum that integrates Christian values, principles, and themes into artistic projects and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages spiritual growth.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with parents on student progress.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Uphold and model Christian values in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and integrated educational experience for
- Abide by standards of conduct and behavior as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Use communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey biblical concepts and teachings.

Qualifications:
- Christian Faith:
- Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Bible, Theology, Divinity, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification from an accredited institution preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in teaching secondary-level Bible or related subjects.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum and fostering spiritual growth in students.
