Description

Job Summary:
The Vice President of Community Services is responsible for overseeing and driving excellence in key operational areas, including campus-wide safety and security, concierge services, facilities management (including grounds), maintenance, engineering, life safety and emergency response. Oversee organization of 60 associates and manages all Community Services related vendor/contractor relationships.  The VP will drive the implementation of Lenbrook’s organizational goals and strategy by developing and executing operational goals, fostering collaboration across departments, ensuring performance excellence and continuous improvement and creating exceptional experiences for residents, staff and guests. Additionally, overseeing the integration of these goals into the annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities such as resident and associate satisfaction, financial performance, daily operations and long-term growth, including strategic priorities approved by the Board.  

 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the planning, implementation, operation, and evaluation of Community Services initiatives aligned with Lenbrook’s goals, including Lenbrook’s quality standards and programs across the continuum of care. Develop and execute strategies for ongoing performance improvement and compliance with industry and field regulations (federal, state, local, and CARF standards) and best practices.
• Direct and manage resource allocation for capital and expensed projects to produce high quality, on budget, and on time project deliverables. Lead the establishment of vendor relationships for repair and supply services, including large projects (Cap Ex, restoration). Ensure vendors comply with Len-brook’s standards and regulations. Implement best practices in preventative and predictive maintenance. Monitor maintenance expenses to stay within budget and approve the purchase of major equipment and supplies according to established policies.
• Regularly submit key reports (e.g., quality indicators, performance metrics, continuous improvement and initiative progress) to leadership. 
• Develop, update, and ensure best practices and adherence to policies and procedures governing Community Services operations, ensuring minimal operational disruption and 24/7 operational support adapting plans for emerging risks, seasonal or emergency needs. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards, including licensure, certification, OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, infection control, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Georgia Department of Community Health regulations.
• Oversee staff performance, ensuring appropriate training and development to maintain competency in work practices, safety, compliance and service delivery. Provide guidance to staff liaisons for resident committees and task forces.
• Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of security systems (alarms, access control, video surveillance). Manage parking assets, ensure safety, and lead regular inspections for community cleanliness, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures related to OSHA, MSDS, injury reporting, and other safety protocols. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained facilities.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives by measuring, recording, adapting, and comparing specific performance indicators. Develop and implement plans of correction following internal inspections or regulatory surveys.
•  Assist in the development and execution of Lenbrook’s mission, strategic vision, and objectives, ensuring all community services operations are aligned with organizational goals. Provide leadership across departments to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency.
 

Qualifications


Education and experience required:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a business, administrative or related field.
• 10 years of experience in hospitality, building/plant operations, security operations, operations of multiple departments or functions, or consumer services preferably in senior living, multifamily, hospitality/hotels, or similar communities. 
• Minimum of 3 years at the senior management or executive level in a company of similar or larger size.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and achieve results.

 

Salary: $152,000 , based on experience
