Have what it takes? Join us. Machine Operator Navico Group is a stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world’s largest recreational marine business. We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Stuart, Florida Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures Key Responsibilities: Operation of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and crimper Operation of CNC machines Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process Check output to ensure highest quality Maintain equipment in good condition Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts Maintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols, regulations, and procedures All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: At least one-year related experience preferred as a machine operator, machinist or similar role in a manufacturing setting At least 3 years related experience preferred as a machine operator, machinist or similar role in a manufacturing setting Skill Requirements: Some experience as a Machine Operator preferred Technical knowledge, attention to detail, have extreme focus and accuracy Ability to follow standard operating procedures Ability in using tools and machinery Good understanding of quality control principles Good communication skills Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition Ability to work in a Non-A/C environment Physical Requirements/Work Environment: While performing duties of the job, incumbent is required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hand to finger handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Non-A/C work area; the noise level can periodically be higher than normal, hearing protection may be required Hours are Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm About the Company: Navico Group is the global leader in technology, systems and solutions for a variety of industries, from Marine & RV to Specialty Vehicles and beyond.
