What you'll do
Lending Science DM is a leader in Financial and Insurance Services Marketing, Analytics, and Risk Services. We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing sales organization. This role is designed for a proven sales leader who excels at selling, coaching, and strategic growth in the financial services and insurance industries.
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Utilize a consultative sales process focused on building long term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and recommending solutions.
- Lead, develop, and execute a clear plan to drive all revenue generating functions across all revenue channels.
- Own revenue generation, sales strategy, and execution across all LSDM products/solutions in financial and insurance services.
- Develop and drive a sales playbook focused on strategic growth, client acquisition, and market expansion.
- Maintain an active role in the sales process, ensuring hands-on leadership while providing strategic direction.
- Define and refine go-to-market strategies to optimize revenue growth and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, positioning, and demand generation tailored to the financial and insurance services sectors.
- Manage CRM, leverage analytics, and performance metrics to refine and accelerate revenue growth.
Team Development & Performance
- Hire, build, develop, and lead high-performing sales team members, ensuring a strong focus on client connection and consultative selling.
- Coach and mentor sales professionals to enhance their ability to sell complex solutions in the insurance and financial services industries.
- Foster a results-driven culture, ensuring sales team members achieve and exceed targets.
- Implement sales training programs, performance metrics, and incentives that drive success.
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Personally engage in high-value client relationships, leading negotiations, and closing key deals.
- Expand LSDM’s footprint by penetrating new markets and verticals within financial services and insurance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, key decision-makers, and stakeholders.
- Lead high-value strategic partnerships and alliances to drive additional revenue opportunities.
- Inform new product development to leverage LSDM assets and capabilities to address client challenges.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Utilize CRM to provide accurate forecasting and revenue reporting, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process and methodology improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to align sales with broader business strategies.
- Drive pipeline development, opportunity management, and deal execution.
- Identify new market trends and opportunities, ensuring LSDM stays ahead of the competition.
Who You Are
- 10 years of sales leadership experience in the financial services or insurance industries, with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in omni channel data driven marketing sales inclusive of scoring, data, audience, direct mail, digital leads, and digital calls.
- Proven ability to sell, with a hands-on approach to closing deals and developing sales talent.
- Experience leading and scaling a high-performance sales team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of marketing, analytics, data, and risk solutions within financial and insurance services.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company growth goals.
- Experience in business development, market expansion, and revenue scaling.
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as Pipedrive and expertise in sales forecasting.
- Inspire, motivate, and drive teams to hit ambitious revenue objectives.
- Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
