What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Lender Relations position at Lendio?
This role is critical to Lendio in building and preserving trusting relationships with our Lending partners. Our partners rely on the Director, Lender Relationships to find ways to outperform our competition and maintain our company’s positive image. To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to work with sales, marketing, operations, product, engineering and FP&A teams. Our lending partners' success, drives Lendio’s success! We also expect you to be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. Ultimately, you'll maintain the connective tissue between Lendio and our partners. This role's duties include meeting with clients in-person and virtually to discuss new products, internal changes, resolving partner.

What you will own:
- Understand partner needs and develop plans to address them
- Engage with partner companies to cultivate profitable relationships
- Resolve partner complaints quickly and effectively
- Upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Promote high-quality sales and customer service processes
- Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
- Gain knowledge of competitors and the industry to maintain the leader the lending industry
- Build and improve relationships with customers, key suppliers and partners.
- Ensure partners get maximum satisfaction from their purchases and relationship with Lendio
- Identify potential opportunities and help our partner create products that drive win-win growth
- Educate and inform clients about the company’s products, services and offers
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and recommend ways of improving client satisfaction
- Work with internal departments to ensure the company meets clients’ expectations
- Proven experience as a Relationship Manager
- Knowledge of customer relationship management practices
- Experience in sales and customer service is preferred
- Problem-solving attitude and excellent organization, operational, and analytical skills

- Customer and growth oriented mindset
- Bachelor in business administration, marketing or a related field is preferred
