Reporting directly to the VP of Lending, you'll play a vital role in helping our sales team confidently navigate complex loan scenarios and align borrower profiles with the right non-QM loan offerings. As a key member of our sales support function, you'll serve as the go-to expert for scenario reviews — offering clear, accurate guidance on program eligibility, structuring, and guideline interpretation. You'll bridge the gap between Sales and Operations, using your deep product knowledge and strong communication skills to ensure quick, reliable answers that keep deals moving.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all non-QM loan programs, guidelines, and eligibility criteria.
- Provide scenario-based support to Account Executives to determine loan viability and product fit across multiple channels, including in-person consultations, active monitoring and engagement in the Scenario Slack Channel, and timely management of the Scenario Inbox.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Underwriting, and Sales to streamline communication and resolve guideline-related questions quickly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of program updates and translate changes into clear guidance for the sales team.
- Partner with the VP of Lending to identify trends in inquiries, provide feedback on guideline pain points, and recommend training or updates.
- Document common scenarios and create reference materials or FAQ content to support AE enablement.
- Support the sales with escalated or complex cases as needed.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- 5 years in a mortgage lending role such as Underwriter, Account Manager, Processing Manager, or Sales Support.
- 1 year non-QM experience.
- Strong knowledge of non-QM guidelines and loan program structuring.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills — you enjoy helping others understand the "why."
- Ability to analyze loan scenarios and give clear, confident recommendations.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable — we use platforms like Salesforce, Slack and Dialpad.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and good judgement
