Lenity Architecture, an award-winning leader in senior housing and commercial architecture with an integrated team of nearly 25 professionals, is looking for an experienced, self-motivated CAD Specialist III, who is a multitasking, self-starter with a can-do team-player attitude to join our team.

Position Summary

As CAD Specialist III, you will take the reins of a project’s technical design; provide planning, design, and coordination on multiple projects with minimal supervision; as well as collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines throughout the design process.

We are looking for high-level technical proficiency and experience. Your contributions are to oversee design aspects of projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions; create project plans for all phases of projects and monitors drawings; and research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.

Education Experience

  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school
  • 6 years of experience

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up, as well as business software (Word, Excel, Teams, Bluebeam & Outlook)
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D sketching and modeling techniques (preferred, not required)

General Objectives And Responsibilities

  • An ability to interpret design ideas and direction.
  • Creates project plans for all phases of projects and monitors drawings.
  • Oversees design aspects of projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
  • Coordinates the structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines throughout the design process.
  • Possesses knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of buildings.
  • Assists with CAD/BIM standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings, and models.
  • Provides technical support, assists users, and acts as a technical resource in project meetings.
