FX Operations Specialist (Foreign Exchange Settlements)
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour
- Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)
- Position Type: 1-Year Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute operations processes and support project efforts within the FX Settlements team.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the processes, systems, markets, and instruments that impact the team.
- Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose actions to resolve them.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and complete compliance courses on time.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external clients on a daily basis.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (degree unrelated to business or finance will require 1-3 years of customer service/client-facing experience in a fast-paced environment).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A commitment to self-development and career progression.
- Awareness of the regulatory environment and its long-term impact on the business.
- Ability to identify appropriate controls and build flexible workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make risk-reduction suggestions.
- Fluent Spanish speaker preferred, but not required.
