MDM Platform, New Development & Maintenance:
- Design and implement master data management solutions to integrate, cleanse, and synchronize critical business data across multiple systems and platforms.
- Play a key role in the creation and management of the data governance framework, including data stewardship, data quality, and metadata management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand new, as well as evolving data requirements ensuring MDM solutions meet business needs and strategic goals.
- Develop and manage data models, data dictionaries, and data flows to ensure data consistency across systems.
- Manage MDM platform and domain configurations, including data integration, data quality rules, and workflow automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex MDM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and continuity.
- Drive data quality initiatives and identify opportunities to improve the data lifecycle management process.
- Collaborate with IT, enterprise architecture, business analysts, and data architects to develop a data strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Ensure the scalability and performance of MDM solutions to handle large data volumes and complex data structures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging MDM technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve data management processes.
- Mentor junior data management engineers and provide technical leadership and guidance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on MDM processes, standards, and best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Work on both the front-end (using frameworks such as React, Angular, and/or Ruby) and back-end (using technologies such as Node.js, Python and/or Ruby).
- Contribute to the architecture and design of the MDM systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
- Participate in technical design reviews, providing feedback and recommendations to improve system design and code quality.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, DevOps and platform teams to integrate new domains-entities into the MDM portfolio.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Identify and resolve defects and performance issues, conducting thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Work closely with QA teams to implement and improve testing strategies and processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team’s processes.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on progress and potential challenges.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them grow in their roles.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Take ownership of features or projects, driving them from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and bring new ideas to the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, refactoring, or technical enhancements to optimize the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of the team’s technical direction.
- 5-7 years of experience in MDM development, data integration, or data management roles. 3 years minimum experience with Reltio MDM.
- Strong proficiency in Reltio-MDM platforms/ RIH, MuleSoft integration layer, patterns, and frameworks.
- In-depth experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques via REST-API, etc.
- Experience in implementing data governance and data quality processes to ensure data integrity.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for data integration and storage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Experience configuring Reltio MDM platform (entities, attributes, crosswalks, reference data, relationships).
- Proficiency with Reltio L3 configuration and managing tenant deployments.
- Hands-on knowledge of match/merge logic and survivorship rule configuration in Reltio.
- Experience with Reltio Integration Hub (RIH) and integrating with boundary systems via REST APIs or connectors.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Reltio tenant issues, including performance tuning.
- Understanding of Reltio workflows and UI model customization.
- Familiarity with data stewardship capabilities and role-based access configuration in Reltio.
- Experience working on vendor master domain (specific to MDM use cases).
- Knowledge of how Reltio integrates with ERP systems like SAP or JDE.
- Experience managing multi-domain MDM or working with hierarchical/vendor relationships.
- Ability to work with Reltio support and release management for tenant upgrades or enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
- Reltio MDM and AWS certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
