The Learning Center Manager is responsible for engaging with our business partners throughout the content development journey through delivery. This position will work with the business to assess learning objectives, design, and deliver associate focused learning experiences at scale that connect to Lennar culture and drive business results.
Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively build and foster relationships with business partners to support their learning needs while following the learning strategy.
- Evaluate operational processes to contextualize them into the appropriate learning modality.
- Ability to communicate what constitutes as learning and the appropriate delivery method with business partners.
- Ability to implement learning strategies, managing training programs, and developing associates’ skills and knowledge.
- Partner with content designers to ensure the content is brought to life through experiences and the learning is accurate for the intended audience.
- Develop and support the appropriate assessment platform to help ensure knowledge retention, etc.
- Provide awareness, communication, participant requirements, measurable impact metrics, etc. to ensure successful learning integration.
- Develop detailed understanding of current learning offerings focused on the evolution to a robust, connected and simple learner experience.
- Support the learning centers to ensure they have the resources to effectively deliver upon the learning.
- Explore cutting edge technologies or software to enhance course offerings or delivery mechanisms for learners.
- Engage with learning center leaders, facilitators, and coordinators to provide any answers and support for each learning initiative.
- Collaborate with Associates and managers to support career development and manage the relationships with the business partners.
- Assist and support the recruitment and selection process of the learning team.
- Serve as a consultant with business leaders to assist in increasing the capability of associates through learning.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or Industrial/Organization Psychology.
- 5-7 years of experience in Talent Management or Leadership Development.
- Must have technical systems knowledge for project tracking and content development.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in corporate learning and development through classroom, field, and virtual, one-on-one and on-the job training.
- Strong proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft and Macintosh applications.
- Motivated, independent learner with a passion for learning and organizational development topics.
- Embrace ideas and changes created in the business; seek and appreciate constructive thoughts, ideas, and feedback from others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with Associates at all levels n the organization.
- Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, ability to follow through on commitments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to present training material in-person and virtually.
