Program Summary - Homebuilding
The Homebuilding Intern will be placed within the Accounting verticals and gain exposure to the business by participating in training opportunities throughout the internship.The program will facilitate participants' development of essential interpersonal and technical skills and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar's culture through onboarding, hands-on training, and team building. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may return to Lennar for full-time opportunities, such as the Future Builders Field Management Rotational Program.
Responsibilities by Role :
Financial Services Intern
- Prepare financial statements, journal entries, management reporting, and reconciliations for month-end and quarterly-end closing activities
- Ensure the adequacy and compliance of internal control systems
- Examine records, reports, operating practices, and more documentation to appraise the accuracy of our systems
- Understand the organization's needs and expectations to draft memos, compute estimated payments, and undergo tax provisional work to control risks to the business.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits :
We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $18.50, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor / living, etc.), and operational considerations.
Physical & Office / Site Presence Requirements :
This is primarily a sedentary office position that requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. It also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and / or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive / return phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying.
