LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is a growing 170-person civil engineering firm serving over 170 regional municipal clients, private development, industry, and utility clients in the Pittsburgh, PA region. LSSE is accepting applications for an Assistant Chief of Surveys (SIT) for our Clarion , PA office.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects under the direction of experienced professionals. Candidates will follow the daily directives of a Crew Chief to complete assigned projects and overall direction from the Survey Unit Manager. Tasks to include working with RTK-GPS and total stations, ALTA / ACSM Land Title surveys, Construction Stakeout, As built, Utility line Route, Topographic, Property and Boundary Surveys. Experience with TDS and Trimble data transfer programs and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
- SIT required
- Minimum 2-year degree (e.g. Surveying Technology, Surveying & Mapping, etc.)
- The candidate must be a motivated team player that is willing to work overtime and travel locally when required
- Overnight travel is anticipated on occasion.
- Candidate must hold and have the ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
