Job Description
This supervisor is responsible for supervising Accounting Analysts in a wide range of advanced duties and responsibilities involving the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and theories in the management of financial accounts and operations.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform highly complex accounting tasks, providing specialized analyses in various accounting functions.
- Develop and recommend complex accounting systems, methods, procedures and controls.
- Develop and/or modify major policies and procedures for financial reporting and cost analysis in specialized areas.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets and reconcile accounting data.
- Review, analyze and present financial data, including revenue projections and expenditure reports.
- Maintain various ledgers, journals, registers and other fiscal records.
- Allocate revenue to appropriate functions.
- Maintain general ledger, record accrual entries and other transactions.
- Prepare and/or review monthly account reconciliations for key accounts as assigned.
- Work with intercompany owners to resolve Intercompany out of balances at consolidation level.
- Review and analyze consolidated financial information.
- Support multiple Corporate Finance & Accounting projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, treasury, legal, etc.) to ensure proper accounting
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Maintain various ledgers, journals, registers and other fiscal records. Classify expenditures and post to various accounts.
- Experience to manage Period end close processes and close books of accounts.
- Experience in processing journal entries, invoices, month-end journals, reconciliations
- Experience in handling Intercompany accounts and Intercompany reconciliations.
- Experience in Corporate Accounting and Consolidations
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, and other relevant accounting frameworks
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in working with SAP and Hyperion is mandatory
- Experience in handling MNC clients and multi business stakeholder
Requires at least 5 years related experience.
CA Qualified with Strong Corporate Accounting Expereince , Stakeholders Management Experience, SAP, Excel, Hyperion Requires advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and theories of financial statements and reports, accounting ledgers and journals and of computer technology related to accounting systems.
