Job Description:

Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience. May require a journeyman's card or equivalent. May require technical diploma or equivalent.
Expert knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Expert knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or other structures. Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models. Strong ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. May require some electrical knowledge. Must be able move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Able to provide training and work leadership.
