Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of network engineers and specialists.
- Foster a culture of collaboration across the globe, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Define team goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategy.
Network Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network and voice infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of network systems.
- Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and best practices.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align network initiatives with business needs.
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery and compliance with SLAs.
- Negotiate contracts and evaluate vendor performance.
Project & Budget Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee network infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI on network investments.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality and service levels.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work cross-functionally with IT and business units to support strategic objectives.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on network performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as an escalation point for critical network issues.
Risk & Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to network operations and security.
Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning for network services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in IT network infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of network data and voice concepts, including routing, switching, VoIP, and cloud networking.
- Proven experience leading and managing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with project and budget management in an IT infrastructure operations organization.
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or ITIL are a plus
