Job Description
A Material Handler Lead for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within the facility. Operating a forklift safely while managing the loading/unloading process of shipments and coordinating others within the department is essential to ensure the smooth workflow of production processes.
The Compensation for this position is $20 per hour.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead coordination amongst material handlers
- Assist in managing the loading and unloading process of shipments
- Assist in organization of facility and finished product storage
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure site productivity and efficiency
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products throughout the plant
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated areas for shipping
- Stack and organize materials in a way that optimizes space and accessibility
- Coordinate with all levels of production to maintain flow of materials and product
- Perform other duties as assigned and based on production needs
- Handle materials for pallet construction and design
- Assist in other departments as needed
