Job Description
Under general supervision, records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
Compiles records from ordering, shipping, and receiving materials. Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records. Assesses stock supply and reorder status. Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items, using the appropriate forms or systems. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures. May provide training and work direction to other inventory control clerks.
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.Must be able to follow procedures and train others. Requires accurate and efficient record keeping and verification of inventory changes. Knows inventory processes and procedures.
