Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and driving business growth within the region.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors within the region.
- Manage a high-performing sales team through effective recruitment, training, and motivation.
- Offer guidance, coaching, and support to sales team members, enabling them to excel in their roles and meet individual and team goals.
- Proactively engage with customers by conducting quarterly planning sessions to align strategies, determine growth plans and support to sales team members, enabling them to excel in their roles and meet individual and team goals.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors within the region. Regularly engage with them to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Present periodic reports and updates to senior management regarding Allied executive sales performance, field needs, and market insights.
- Revisit and tailor policies to optimize their effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Set sales targets and performance goals for the team and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
- Remote position with 60% travel. Can reside in Denver, Colorado or Salt Lake City, Utah.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires at least 8 years related experience
- Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time
- Requires expert or specialized knowledge of principles and methods for promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Expert at written and verbal communication
- Requires HVAC industry and product knowledge
- Experience in Two-Step Distribution Model preferred.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software
WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation:
The total compensation range for this position is $152,000 to $200,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 75% base salary and 25% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase. Company car and Fuel card provided.
