Job Description
The person in this position is responsible for coordinating sourcing activities for the Building Climate Solutions business unit. This includes collaborating on the development and implementation of long- and short-range sourcing strategies for very complex and high-risk items.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Collaboration on developing global sourcing strategies for a broad range of commodities and components, defining scope of projects and identifying savings opportunities.
- Reviewing negotiated contracts and monitoring relationships with suppliers.
- Implementing policies and metrics to ensure supplier performance and savings goals are realized.
- Working with Strategic Sourcing Mgrs., Buyers, Engineers, and leadership to identify and support new product needs.
- Facilitate the identification of new sources in to meet business requirements.
- Serve as the primary interface between the BCS business unit and Strategic Sourcing Managers, Buyers, and Suppliers on strategic/critical quality, engineering and procurement matters.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A master's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 12 years related experiences.
- Knowledge of contract law, the RFQ process, supplier and part qualification processes, low-cost country sourcing.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, analytical, planning, project management, written, and verbal skills.
- Ability to lead a cross functional commodity team and work across the organization at all levels while developing strategic commodity plans.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $158,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
