Job Description
The individual in this role performs routine manual and clerical duties to assist within shipping and receiving areas.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
- Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
- Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
- Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
- Completes written and computerized documentation.
