Instructional Aide - General Education

SUMMARY: Works directly with an assigned classroom teacher(s) to assist in instructional programs. QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent two years of college OR • High school diploma or equivalent AA degree or higher OR • High school diploma or equivalent have a passing score of 70% or higher on the District Academic proficiency test • Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation • Bilingual-biliterate English/Spanish desirable • Experience working with students in a school or recreational setting desirable • Experience working with students with special needs is desirable • Experience working with parents desirable
