Job Description
Location: Tifton, GA (100% Onsite)
As the Mechanical Engineer II, you will designs fabricate, modify and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems.
- Write test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specifications
- Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
- Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototypes or experimental runs for products or processes.
- Work with Manufacturing team and Production team on solving the production issues.
- Review the design and Prototype with cross functional teams.
- Flexible and able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands on Experience working in the factory.
- Experience with analytical and CAD software is a plus.
- Experience with SAP and PLM is a plus.
- Knowledge of refrigeration or HVAC systems and/or equipment is a plus.
