Job Overview
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role involved coordinating projects, implementing preventive maintenance, and training employees on emergency preparedness. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, including HVAC systems, low and high voltage electrical systems, and project management.
Duties
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Fabricate and repair equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Utilize TELS for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage high voltage electrical systems, ensuring safe operation and adherence to regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance projects as required.
- Train staff on emergency preparedness, conduct fire and disaster drills, including evacuation procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is essential.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Experience using TELS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
