The Plumbing Instructor (Part-time) is responsible for providing quality skills instruction to our construction trades students through seated and practical hands-on/lab courses. The Instructor is responsible for providing one-on-one and whole group instruction so that students are able to acquire the skills expected to be employed in the plumbing industry.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
High school diplomaNC Plumbing Licensure Level 1 and Level 2 required; Level 3 preferredMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a plumber (hands-on) in commercial or residentialWorking ConditionsClassroom, lab, or shop environmentFrequent standing and walking to monitor student progressSome lifting of materials pertaining to lab projects
