The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Career Advisor will perform case management functions, and other tasks associated with the recruitment, assessment, training, and placement of WIOA eligible customers.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a degree in human services, human resource management, psychology, business, or social work; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProficiency in multiple languages would be a plus for this positionMust have a valid North Carolina driver's licenseWorking Conditions Office environment Infrequently lifting and carrying items up to 15 lbs. Infrequently bending and twisting at the waist Evening and weekend work hours; frequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a computer display, keyboard, mouse, and telephone Infrequently traveling between buildings on campus, between campuses, and to off-campus sites
