What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branded Concepts F&B Manager position at Lenovo Center/Carolina Hurricanes?
This position will effectively manage aspects of the Concessions’ operation with a focus on all communication, business process, and logistical needs for each of our food and beverage branded concept locations, for all events at Lenovo Center in a professional manner with the highest standard.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest experience and ensure staff are adhering to the highest standards of service.
- Manage communication with food and beverage branded concept leads and other main points of contact.
- Ensures that partner locations meet contractual obligations.
- Assist with hiring, training, and maintaining part-time staff.
- Works closely with staffing coordinator (volunteer group and Lenovo Center staff) to ensure branded concept locations are staffed appropriately.
- Collaborate with Branded Concepts Chef to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Ordering of food and beverage supplies needed for scheduled events.
- Assists with the upkeep of workspace and storage areas.
- Create a pleasing atmosphere for partners
- Coordinate and work well with other departments to ensure guests have an exceptional experience
- Assists with accurate inventory of products.
- Generate all necessary administrative documentation needed for management and clients including client receipts
and daily sales reports. - Stay up to date on new trends, methods, and items that can further improve serving clients.
- Ability to think fast and solve problems
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the food and beverage environment and in a supervisory capacity, preferably in an arena environment.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills.
- Guest service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
- Must be available to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Capable of working long periods which involve standing, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must pass criminal background check
