What are the responsibilities and job description for the Suites Food & Beverage Manager position at Lenovo Center?
The Suites Food & Beverage Manager will coordinate all food & beverage service needs for Suites and Loges clients for all events at Lenovo Center in a professional manner to the highest standard.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee food and beverage service in all Loges and Suites during all events with the other Suites Manager.
- Be the liaison for suite holders prior to and during events to ensure the highest quality customer service and F&B order accuracy.
- Hire, train, and lead part-time staff, consisting of Suite Attendants, Loge Attendants, and F&B Runners.
- Generate employee schedules and manage employee payroll for all functions using ABI time keeping software.
- Staff at appropriate levels based on the event to ensure labor cost efficiency.
- Order all food and beverage supplies needed for scheduled events.
- Oversee the upkeep of workspace and storage areas.
- Build relationships with clients and their guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, and open lines of communication to meet their event day needs.
- Work with Executive Chef & Suites Chef to ensure food quality and appearance.
- Coordinate with other departments, and foster teamwork to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Keep accurate inventory of all products.
- Generate all necessary administrative documentation needed for management and clients including client receipts and daily sales reports.
- Stay up to date on new trends, methods, and menu items that can improve the clients’ experience.
Experience:
- Three (3) years’ experience in a food and beverage environment and in a supervisory capacity, preferably in an arena environment strongly preferred.
- Applicants must communicate effectively with guests and employees.
- Ability to think fast and solve problems.
- Must possess strong computer and organizational skills.
- Should have physical ability to withstand long hours including standing and walking for long periods of time and going up and down stairs.
- Must be available to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass criminal background check.
