INFORMATION: Applicants must have a strong background in woodworking, including tool safety, joinery, lathe work, drills, plainer and all saws. Experience in woodworking and building must be sufficient to teach basic to advanced woodworking. Applicants must have a current MA Teaching License and have passed the DESE written and practical tests in either Carpentry or Cabinetry or the Technology/Engineering test. Excellent communication skills are a must. Willingness to collaborate with other disciplines is essential. Applicants must demonstrate a clear understanding of shop safety and how to share that understanding with students. SEI endorsement required.
COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A contract
