Independent Contractor/Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting small parcels efficiently and safely to various locations. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Must provide your own gas and vehicle for this job

You will be responsible to come in to the warehouse in a.m. to scan and number your packages for your route

• Operate your own vehicle for the delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload products using a pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Valid driver's license
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Pay: $150.00 - $350.00 per day
