- Monitor and adjust wire/machine settings for optimal performance
- Operate and set up down cutters, slabbers, and valley machines
- Accurately complete production records with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all shutdown and startup procedures
- Ensure proper material selection and efficient use to reduce waste
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, notifying the supervisor of equipment breakdowns
- Assist in other departments as needed and support new team member training
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and adhere to all safety regulations
- Strong leadership abilities with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred
- Basic math and measuring skills required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment is a plus
