This Accounting Advisory Manager is responsible for managing multiple client relationships with a team of professionals providing technical accounting consulting around events & transaction services and other projects & solutions. This professional will lead and provide services around the financial close, reporting and finance modernization needed for physician practice and healthcare services clients.
This role is to be a part of a national team, and the Manager is expected to create an environment that builds a passion for excellence. He/she will need to ensure an appropriate level of diligence is included in work products and meet deadlines.

Qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Four or more years of experience in both public accounting firm and in a healthcare role in accounting
- Understanding of accountings processes and internal controls and the financial close for a physician practice or healthcare services entity.
- Able to navigate ambiguous client assignments
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment
- CPA, strong preference
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
- Prior experience with various assurance applications and research tools beneficial
- General knowledge of an EMR and integration of EMR data into a Company’s ERP system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a financial close and reporting group at a physician practice or healthcare services company
- Experience with corporate practice of medicine
- Experience remediating regulatory examination issues
- Experience with process improvements and finance modernization in a healthcare environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with professionals at all levels both within the client organization and the firm
- Ability to work independently and within a group environment
- Demonstrates analytical and diagnostic skills
- Thrives working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments successfully
- Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Team player able to move to effectively delegate work assignments as needed
- Comfortable and thriving in a hybrid work environment
- Ability to travel up to 40%
