Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will partner closely with AWS sales, professional services, and engineering teams to help our partners design, build, and migrate applications, software, and services. You will lead architectural discussions and design exercises, ensuring our partners' solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with AWS best practices. As an AWS evangelist, you will educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and contribute to the creation of AWS content such as whitepapers, blogs, and proofs-of-concept. You will also build relationships with senior technical individuals both internally and externally to enable them to become cloud advocates.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Ensure partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Be an AWS evangelist and educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS
- Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and proof of concepts
- Build relationships with senior technical individuals internally and externally to enable them to be cloud advocates

- 3 years experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C - 3 years experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)
- Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution
- Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps
