Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- As directed, perform and document work activities related to analysis, evaluation, building, testing, or implementing planned IT software solutions and processes and/or enhance, maintain or support existing products/processes as per defined services level agreements.
- Acquire and apply business/IT knowledge.
- Organize own activities for short term or sub-project/components under the direction of experienced personnel and reports on status.
- Gain product experience and technical skills through assigned role and training.
- Ensure adherence to standards as outlined in the management model. Utilize best practices to improve products and services.
- Typically 0-2 years experience in related experience in Data Engineering
- Appropriate technical skills: SQL and Python
- Ability to understand and communicate customer issues
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) or data engineering tools are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics.
- Proficiency in PySpark for big data processing and transformations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing structured data.
- Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and integration.
- Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data ingestion processes.
- Experience working with Delta Lake for efficient data storage and management is a plus.
- Cloud & DevOps Exposure:
- Understanding of cloud services, preferably Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Functions).
- Basic knowledge of version control tools like Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts for data pipelines.
