Job Description
On a day-to-day basis, the Application Analyst will be responsible for the management, support, and optimization of the firms business applications. This includes requirement analysis, planning, design, configuration, integration, scripting, testing, debugging, documenting, and support for the applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The first half of the week will be mainly focused on supporting applications, while the second half will involve project-based work, such as creating reports, writing programs within SQL, and report development. This candidate should demonstrate and further develop knowledge and/or experience in department standard development platforms, tools, and architectures to better facilitate the implementation and support of systems/programs that meet firm requirements.

Skills And Requirements
Must Haves:
8 years experience in software configuration, implementation, and IT support.
Knowledge of the varying nature of software projects and capable of working effectively on small, medium, and large projects, spanning product selection/acquisition/implementation/integration in a windows desktop and server environment.
Previous experience within a Microsoft technology stack environment.
Experience supporting 5-8 specific applications at a time while also being able to balance project-based work.
An understanding of technology areas such as cloud computing, identity security and access controls, and data analytics. (want to stress very strong data analytics, working with data with SQL.)
Must have experience within SQL Server database and Reporting Services, SSRS development, SQL Development, PowerShell scripting, IIS, Windows Server security and administration, Active Directory, Team Foundation Server.

PowerBI (or SSRS report development, both ideal, but one of the other is fine) Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
Previous experience within a law firm.
