Schedule/Hours: PM shifts available
- 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Operate all equipment and processes in assigned production areas under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.
- Cross-train in two production areas; coordinate additional labor resources as needed.
- Ensure safe and environmentally responsible operation of processing equipment to produce high-quality ion exchange products.
- Load raw materials and chemicals; unload and package finished resin products.
- Handle equipment including pumps, regeneration columns, dilution stations, washing, dewatering, drying, blending, mixing vessels, reactors, centrifuges, dryers, scrubbers, and lab equipment.
- Execute unit operations such as chemical regenerations/conversions, steaming, rinsing, disinfecting, polymerization, sulfonation, hydration, and caustic-conversion of resin products.
- Report safety, environmental, and operational issues promptly; perform basic troubleshooting.
- Adhere to safety procedures, particularly permit programs for equipment maintenance.
- Document batch processing and other records accurately and promptly to ensure product traceability and quality adherence.
- US Citizen.
- HS Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher in a science/technical field preferred.
- 6 years in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, or petroleum industries; 10 years in batch chemical processing preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to work at elevated heights.
- Ability to be trained in respirator use and confined space entry.
- Production plant: Approximately 80% indoors, 20% outdoors.
- 24x7 production with 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off, steady day or night shift.
