Job Summary

Lead internal compliance and auditing analysis of Club transactions. This position plays a key role in identifying, investigating, and evaluating transactions for Club Wyndham, WorldMark by Wyndham, and Shell Vacation Club. Additionally, this role is responsible for proposing additional regulation/compliance measures once areas of improvement are identified to meet company compliance objectives. Makes key decisions regarding the design and approach of business solutions with minimal supervision.

This position designs and analyzes reporting on operational and financial trends using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to data mining. Assists with the design, development, testing, and maintenance of key operational databases, macro programs, and data queries. Ensures security, stability, and data integrity of internal systems. Fulfills standard and ad-hoc reporting needs and maintains the accuracy and integrity of report data. Works with other functional areas within the company to establish performance and operational metrics to improve and measure capability across the organization.

How You’ll Shine

  • Analyze transaction trends and benefit usage across accounts to identify trends, unapproved collaborations, or rule violations.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Club, IT, SD&I, and HR to evaluate controls related to the following areas of focus: Point utilization, booking trends, contact center operations, sales and marketing, user acceptance testing, and external business partner activity.
  • Lead process evaluations and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies.
  • Follow up on outstanding action points within an agreed-upon timetable and ensure all issues are closed in a timely manner.
  • Creating reports and developing tools and processes to automate reports.
  • Analyzing large amounts of data relating to sales, customers, or financial performance.
  • Using Structured Query Language (SQL) and other coding languages to extract data.
  • Aligning reports to business objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Accessing existing databases and creating processes for storage of new data.
  • Identify operational or financial variances; formulate recommendations to improve internal control processes and implement forecast models for monitoring, planning, and control.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer and Information Science, MIS, or equivalent experience instead of the education requirements.
  • One to three years of experience in contact center analytics and financial/operational analysis or software development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must make prompt, accurate decisions while working under deadlines and pressure.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, or other analytics software
  • Advanced MS Excel, relational database experience, and Visual Basic or similar programming skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and peers.
  • Knowledge of Club Wyndham, WorldMark, and Shell Club Rules preferred.
  • Ability to understand operational processes between different systems and identify impacts.
  • Solid written, oral, and presentation skills.
