Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Mills to produce precision components according to specifications and blueprints
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions to understand dimensions and tolerances
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication, to ensure machines run efficiently
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations in specifications and make necessary adjustments
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure accuracy
• Program CNC lathes using G-code and adjust settings as needed for different machining processes including tool and positional offsets
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
• Collaborate with other machinists and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of production, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance logs
