CNC MACHINIST/PROGRAMMER: We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC machinist/programmer. Key functions of your role will be toprogram,set up and run jobs on CNC machining centers, CNC lathes and CNC horizontal boring mills, with a strong focus on quality and keeping the level of work consistent. Experience running manual lathes highly preferred but not required.We currently run Doosan and Haas machines. Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities

• Set up machines correctly in a timely manner
• Create programming using G-code in Fanuc setting
• Independently operate CNC machines following the guidelines of our production programming
• Ensure quality production at all timesin addition to proper operation of machines
• Maintain traceabilityonall jobs
• Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
• Keep work area clean andorganized at all times
• Perform all daily maintenance on equipment
• Always comply with safety protocol
• Comply with policiesrelated to quality of work at all times
  
  

Required Experience/Skills

• Minimumof 3years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes and boring mills.
• Must be able to write programs from scratch
• Programming knowledge in Fanuc G Code
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges.
• Ability to set up and run jobs on CNC machines
• Ability to setup multiple jobs on multiple machines
