Duties
The Commissioning Technician's role is to manage and perform startup activities and system performance evaluations on new and existing construction projects of all types, including documentation of per-functional activities and the maintenance of action item lists. TheCommissioning Technicianwill also be integral to the finalCommissioningteam. Participating in point-to-point system checkout, functional system testing activities, and resolution of all operational deficiencies identified as part of this process will be required.

Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl often. The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
May work with or around typical construction materials and chemicals requiring safety data sheet knowledge.

Qualifications
- Background in either HVAC or Electrical, strong technical skills, and diagnostic capabilities.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Good oral and written communication skills and computer literacy.
- Ideal candidates must have the desire to learn, succeed, be able to set goals, meet deadlines, be self-starters, and able to pass a background/drug test.
