Responsibilities
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and managers to devise EMC and EMI testing to comply with standards such as UL, IEC, and GSA regulations.
- Create tests for test engineers to perform based on standards.
- Work with various third-party engineers to understand compliance standards.
- Interpret and analyze code in relation to lighting products.
- Assist suppliers in understanding product lines to create testing protocols.
- Lead compliance testing efforts.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (EE/Electronics preferred).
- 5 years’ experience as a Regulatory/ Compliance Engineer for electrical/electronics products (open to 3 ).
- Prior experience working with third-party agencies for domestic and international certifications required.
- EMC/EMI testing experience.
- Experience with UL standards (ideal if familiar with FCC/CSA/IEC).
