We are currently hiring for a Concrete Finisher who will be responsible for performing designated duties in the Casting department, following VFP guidelines to construct our concrete buildings in an efficient and timely manner.

Essential Duties

• Read and interpret engineering drawings/prints for construction of concrete shelters
• Set up molds as specified on engineering prints
• Assist in achieving a high-quality finish on concrete panels e.g. slick, float, brush, and exposed
• Assist in removing panels from molds
• Operate and maintain concrete equipment such as automatic screed, vibrator, and electric/air hand tools
• Follow all departmental and company safety rules at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping practices by keeping work area neat and clean
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to solve problems in a variety of standardized situations
• Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to read blue prints and a ruler
