We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative data solutions that enhance the experience of real estate professionals and clients alike.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test robust, scalable data platform components to meet the needs of millions of users.
- Collaborate with product engineers to understand data pipeline requirements and produce innovative solutions.
- Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to define new data products and features.
- Build high-performance, scalable data solutions that support real-time processing and analytics.
- Utilize big data technologies to create efficient data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data.
- 5 years of experience with Spark and Scala, focusing on building high-volume, low-latency data pipelines.
- 5 years of experience in real-time stream processing using Apache Flink or Apache Spark with messaging systems like Kafka.
- 7 years of experience in data pipeline development and processing of diverse data types.
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and EC2.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality.
- Experience with Java and Git (GitLab preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- A collaborative work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit.
