Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a GCP Database migration Engineer to help support the migration from an onprem database to GCP.
Develop and operationalize enterprise database migration solutions using GCP native such as Database Migration Services
Automate database migration processes to achieve best migration performance
Participate in conducting full technical discovery, identifying pain points, business, and technical requirements, proof-of-concept testing of new migration solutions
Assist in designing Cloud architectures to migrate large-scale enterprise data sets from on premise or other clouds to GCP
Assist application team to implement off-the-shelf migration tools or develop custom migration solutions.
$70/hr to $85/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Traditional relational database - oracle
GCP development with SQL, terraform, python, powershell
Google cloud platform services - cloudrun, pubsub, dataflow
Managing and deploying application in GCP using terraform, CI/CD pipeline (tekton and jenkins) OPEN TO AWS/AZURE with some GCP experience
Local or relo to MI
Onsite one day per week null
