Parsons is looking for a talented and experienced Principal Defensive Systems Modeling and Simulation Lead to join our team! In this role you will lead a team performing modeling and simulation associated with defensive weapon systems.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented and experienced Principal Defensive Systems Modeling and Simulation Lead to join our team! In this role you will lead a team performing modeling and simulation associated with defensive weapon systems.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working closely with the customer to understand and deliver quality products that accomplish their mission
- Coordinating multiple tasks, staff and subcontractors performing analysis
- Understanding engineering designs supplied by the customer and leading teams of staff and/or subcontractors to develop software models that represent the systems at the fidelity necessary to meet customer goals.
- Oversee the evolution of the technical baseline and plan transition steps that add emerging capabilities while maintaining existing products.
- Use modeling and simulation tools to answer intelligence questions
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar discipline, and 15 years of experience
- Deep technical experience with Radar, Directed Energy Weapons, Surface to Air Missile Systems, and/or Anti-Satellite weapons
- Experience developing software in C and MATLAB Simulink and leading software teams
- Experience with modeling and simulation of weapons systems
- Experience developing software models of Radar, interceptor and sensor subsystems
- Ability to mentor and provide task leadership
- Prior leadership experience over teams of teams
- Experience with Agile software development
- Prior experience establishing teams and supporting program transitions
