We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Associate Director, Operations to oversee and optimize our global operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international sourcing, demand planning, supply chain management, and integrated business planning, with a strong ability to drive organizational success through standardization and effective change management. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on international negotiation experience, and the ability to manage a multi-site, multi-national team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multi-site, multi-national team to ensure efficient and effective supply chain processes.
- Drive cost reductions in freight and products, and push for high inventory turns using demand pull strategies.
- Lead onshore and nearshore sourcing efforts where strategically sound.
- Conduct extensive global travel for supplier management and international negotiations.
- Implement and manage vendor metrics and KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and execute strategies for risk management, tariff mitigation, and DRP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Integrate demand planning for alignment with organizational goals.
- Standardize KPIs, data sources, and reporting to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Aggregate and project monthly and quarterly revenue at various levels of the commercial hierarchy.
- Improve revenue and profitability forecasting through dynamic solutions
- Foster best practice behaviors and effective change management across regions.
- Lead and implement Carrier EH&S policies and strive for zero accident workplace
- Drive productivity to meet financial targets
- Manage inventories to meet financial targets
- Manage a high level of engagement of the teams
- Ensure outstanding quality and delivery service level to our customers
- Ensure compliance of operations to Carrier ITC and Ethics policies
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, international sourcing, logistics, SIOP and/or integrated business planning
- Proven ability to lead and manage global teams in a matrixed commercial environment.
- Strong track record of delivering growth and improving forecast accuracy.
- Excellent change management and collaboration skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with extensive global travel experience.
- Expertise in demand flow, lean manufacturing, and value stream integration.
- Experience with logistics, CT-PAT, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
